About

b. 1986, HK.

Brett Edwards is a multi-disciplinary creative from Melbourne, Australia. Currently working as a Creative Director at Havas, Chicago.

Beginning his creative journey as a graphic designer, Brett serendipitously found his way into the world of advertising after completing Australia’s pre-eminent creative school, Award School. Since then, he has worked at a variety of the country's top agencies, including DDB, The Monkeys, Ogilvy, and CHEP Network, to name a few.

In Brett’s creative career, he’s incited a national debate about Australia’s national sport, rallied a legion of individuals with the same name to serve as brand ambassadors, convinced the globe that Aussie baseball players are far better than they actually are, and turned an Olympian's brother into the most hated man in the country.

Brett’s work has received recognition both locally and globally for its creativity and effectiveness across a diverse range of categories, most notably at D&AD, Cannes Lions, The One Show, Spikes, AWARD, New York Festivals, and the Effies.

Outside of advertising, Brett enjoys travel, art, film, and escaping to snow-capped mountains, far from the reach of cellular networks.
